Vice: The Future Will be Swarming With Rats
When it comes to the animals that humans live side by side with, there seems to be three categories. Some are domesticated, some are exterminated, and a few manage to adapt to their surroundings. They typically become our pests, and despite our best efforts, have been impossible to eradicate. As more species go extinct in the years ahead, the rat, arguably our greatest adversary, may take the place of the predators we've put down over the years.
